Our fantabulous ThanksLiving event sold out faster than ever this year, more than a month in advance (Sunday 11/23).
But fear not, we've reserved a pair of tickets and are making them available on eBay, and to sweeten the deal we're throwing in a two-night stay in a luxury suite, courtesy of the magnificent Emerson Resort & Spa, worth almost $1000. Visit the auction here.
Many thanks in advance to our participating restaurants:
Woodstock: Garden Cafe, New World, Joshua's and Red Onion
New Paltz: Karma Road
NYC: Blossom and Corio
Bethlehem, PA: Vegan Treats |

Heather Mills
to the Rescue
Funding for New Building is Complete!
With her incredibly generous donation of $25,000, the new Animal Rehabilitation Center is finally complete!
Heather and WFAS Director Jenny Brown met at an animal charity event in NYC where they discussed their commonalities -- artificial legs and animal welfare! Thank you Heather! And thanks to the all the foundations -- Schutz-Engel Trust, Ahimsa Foundation, Winley Foundation, Blanche Enders Charitable Trust, and George F. Baker Trust -- who provided the major funding, and scores of individual donors who helped make this much need facility a reality!

NOVEMBER 8 & 9: Get your post election day frustrations out on some dirt and rocks! Our new Animal Rehabilitation Building is looking pretty sharp but we had to tear out lots of fencing during excavation. Now it's time to repair all that. Digging post holes is one of the most satisfying volunteer jobs on the farm -- the fruits of your hard labor will be there for decades to come! Email us or call 845-679-5955

RESCUE RUN: TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO MATCH MARTIN'S MILES!
Last November, mild-mannered book publisher Martin Rowe ran the New York City Marathon for his very first time. At his request, kind folks from across the country pledged a dollar a mile or more to raise funds for the farm.
Martin's speed and dexterity through all five boroughs brought in over $11,000 to help with medical bills for Albie the goat and others during the tough winter months.
Please help inspire his 2008 run with a pledge of $1 or more per mile...GO HERE TO PLEDGE
